F&W Transportation, in partnership with E-Z-GO/Textron Specialized Vehicles, donated 20 pallets (equaling 1200 cases or 28,800 bottles) of bottled water, transportation to Texas and end distribution to benefit relief efforts following the devastation of Winter Storm Uri. Rick Faglier departed February 23, 2021 with the load, headed to the Fort Worth, TX area.
F&W met the call to action of the American Trucking Associations and Georgia Motor Trucking Association, which urged its members to assist by donating supplies, transportation and monetary donations. E-Z-GO/Textron Specialized Vehicles has a branch in Richland Hills (Fort Worth area), Texas with over a dozen employees, and following a poll of those employees, the need for bottled water was designated as high priority. F&W employs Texas residents, as well.
