The American Trucking Association has made a commitment to hiring 100,000 veterans, and many trucking companies, like F&W Transportation, have aligned with veteran hiring programs to fill the great need for drivers in the transportation and logistics industry.
Through programs like Forces United, Hiring our Heroes and the AUSA- Fort Gordon Chapter, we seek to identify opportunities to hire veterans and military spouses. In addition to their rigorous training and completed missions, veterans have the skills to deal with people and numbers under pressure, flexibility to work strongly in teams or work independently, they understand the value of procedures and accountability, and their strong personal integrity translates into qualities of sincerity and trustworthiness.
On Veterans Day, and every day, we want to convey our appreciation for the F&W drivers who served in our military. We owe you thanks, and we owe you our freedom!
